FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's basketball program signed 2023 WBCA Two-Year College Coaches' All-American selection Deajanae "Ja" Harvey, head coach Jaime White announced on Wednesday.

A 5-foot-6 guard, Harvey joins the Bulldogs from Palomar College in San Marcos, Calif. where she was a two-time CCCAA Southern California Player of the Year, the program's first player to ever earn the honor. She capped off this year being named as one of 10 players to the WBCA Two-Year College Coaches' All-America Team. In two seasons she averaged 21.9 points per game leading Palomar to a combined 47-4 record. The Comets reached the CCAAA quarterfinals in 2022 and the semifinals in 2023.

"Her ability to create for others and to score at all three levels sets her apart and will make an immediate impact. We're thrilled to welcome her to the Bulldog family and look forward to her joining us this summer in Fresno."

This past season, Harvey averaged 24.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 6.0 steals per game. The El Cajon native racked up 22 games with 20 or more points and 12 double-doubles.
