IRVING, Texas - Fresno State senior Ana Bertozzi adds another honor to her season, being named the Big 12 Co-Fences Rider of the Month for March. She earned her third Big 12 Rider of the Month honor of the year, and the second in the fences.
This honor is her third career Big 12 Fences Rider of the Month recognition, and the second since her freshman campaign in 2019-20.
Bertozzi was undefeated in the month of March, including her rides at the Big 12 Championship. Bertozzi helped Fresno State to defeat its first Top 5 ranked team since last spring in its 10-9 win over Oklahoma State on Senior Day (Mar. 4). She was the only Bulldog to win both their fences points at the Big 12 Championship, and scored the highest score on the team in the consolation round.
Wednesday's announcement is just another to add to the list for Bertozzi's successful career as a Bulldog. She was named an All-American in the fences earlier this month, finishing the season with a 10-2 record in the event. More on her All-American recognition can be found here.
