BANDON, Ore. – Following the cancelation of Monday's second round, Fresno State wrapped up the Bandon Dunes Championship on Tuesday with Joseph Lloyd finishing tied for fifth at 1-over par. It was the sophomore's highest finish of his career.
Lloyd opened the day tied atop the leaderboard at 1-under par. With 15 pars, a double bogey on No. 13 dropped the Bulldog back. He carded a 2-over par 74 for the day, even for the tournament, and finished four shots back of the overall lead.
Matthew Sutherland finished tied for 29th at 5-over par following a 2-over 74 on Tuesday. Climbing 30 spots in the second round after struggling on Sunday, Matthew Manganello was tied with Sutherland at 29th. The junior fired a 2-under 70 that saw six birdies in the round, three in the final five holes, to close out the tournament.
Fresno State finished the shortened 36-hole tournament in sixth at 15-over par following a 292 on Tuesday, nine shots better than their score in Sunday's opening round.
