STOCKTON, Calif. —The Fresno State softball team fell to Pacific 3-1 on Wednesday evening.
In the circle, Hannah Ortega pitch 4.0 innings and recorded a season-high five strikeouts. Freshman Kennedy Bunker led the Bulldogs at the plate with two hits.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Pacific took a 2-0 lead off four hits including a home run. The Tigers extended their lead in the fifth inning with another solo home run.
The Bulldogs attempted a comeback bid in the seventh inning, plating one run on one hit, but fell short. The Tigers took the win 3-1.

Fresno State will host the Bulldog Classic March 9-12 at Margie Wright Diamond.
