The Diamond 'Dogs are coming off opening Mountain West play at San Jose State over the weekend dropping a pair of games to the Spartans.
The 'Dogs return home to host Pacific on Tuesday for the second of five midweek home games this season.
Fresno State is 4-1 at home this season with three wins over Nebraska Omaha and a 7-5 victory over San Francisco last Wednesday.

A look at the Pacific Tigers
Pacific is off to a 4-6 start to the season after sweeping New Mexico State on the road this past weekend defeating the Aggies, 6-4, 4-3 in 10 innings and 13-4.
The Tigers were picked to 10th in the preseason WCC poll after going 14-38 in 2022 and finished 5-22 in the conference for a 10th-place finish.
Pacific is hitting .319 from the plate as a team to lead the WCC and rank 23rd nationally. The Tigers are averaging 5.7 runs and are second in the WCC in hits (112) & third in on-base percentage (.394).
On the mound, the Tigers have a 7.71 team ERA while opponents are averaging 9.3 runs per contest and hitting .325 from the plate.
Six different pitchers have made starts on the season with senior left-hander Grant Stevens leading the team in innings pitched (13.1) and strikeouts (10).
