FRESNO, Calif. – The No. 75-ranked Fresno State women's tennis team defeated the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds 6-1 on Thursday at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
Fresno State (5-5) earned the doubles point by winning at the No. 1 and 2 positions, and then won five of the six singles contests.
Pang Jittakoat, who has been named the MW's Women's Tennis Player of the Week in each of the last three weeks she has had an opportunity to compete, was the first to finish her singles match with a dominant 6-0, 6-1 sweep over Lea Falentin.
