FRESNO, CFRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's tennis program was ranked No. 68 nationally in the first 2023 ITA Top 75 Collegiate Tennis Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point, the organization announced on Tuesday.
This is the 13th consecutive ITA Top 75 poll that the Bulldogs have been nationally ranked.
Fresno State (4-5) has played an elite schedule to start this spring, which has already included matches against No. 1 Texas, No. 30 LMU, No. 38 Oregon, No. 47 Arizona, No. 66 Florida Atlantic, No. 69 Washington State, No. 70 Cal Poly, along with Northern Arizona, who checked in at No. 71 in this week's ITA Top 75.
This past weekend, Fresno State earned its first win over an ITA Top 40 program since 2016 when the Bulldogs defeated then-No. 38 Oregon 4-3 on Saturday (Feb. 18) on the road in Eugene, Ore.
