COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State senior Pang Jittakoat was named the Mountain West's Women's Tennis Player of the Week, while teammate Mariya Vyshkina was awarded MW Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
This is Jittakoat's fourth career MW weekly honor and the first for Vyshkina.
No. 65 Fresno State is set to host No. 69 Washington State on Friday and and No. 70 Cal Poly on Sunday as the Bulldogs open their 2023 spring season by facing eight nonconference opponents, who were ranked in the most recent ITA Top 75 Collegiate Tennis Rankings sponsored by Tennis Point.

Went 3-0 in the No. 1 singles position on the week, taking down top singles players from Arizona, Florida Atlantic, and Northern Arizona.
Logged a 2-1 week in the No. 1 doubles flight, posting 6-0 scores over Arizona and Northern Arizona with teammate Matilde Magrini.
Defeated Arizona's Salma Ziouti in the No. 1 singles spot 6-2, 6-4.
Also posted a straight sets win over Northern Arizona's Sofia Markova in, 6-2, 6-4.
Posted a third straight set win against Florida Atlantic's Katerina Filip, 6-1, 6-3.

Went 2-1 at No. 2 doubles with partner Meshkatolzahra Safi, including a 7-5 win over Northern Arizona and a 6-2 victory against Florida Atlantic.
Earned a straight set victory against Florida Atlantic's Carla Galmiche, 6-3, 6-4.
