Second Annual Chasing Shelby Foundation Car Show

Help raise money for The Chasing Shelby Foundation at this year's 2nd annual Car Show, happening on September 28th at Woodward Park.

The Chasing Shelby Foundation was started in loving memory of Shelby Chase Veater who passed away from the effects of Spina Bifida at the age of 19. Her parents gave her the middle name of "Chase" despite being told she would never walk. Their hope was that one day she would be able to "chase" her older brother and sister around.....and of course, she miraculously did just that! Shelby was a tremendous, strong, and giving spirit who never once let her disability define her. The Chasing Shelby Foundation will promote awareness of and support those who are born with Spina Bifida. In remembrance of Shelby, may we all strive to smile through adversity and to think of others along the way.
