FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team is wrapping up the regular season with one final match at Boise State this weekend.

The Bulldogs are currently tied for second place in the conference with Utah State at 12-5 in conference play. Seeding in the Mountain West Championship tournament will be determined after Saturday's matches.

LOCKED IN

For the first time since joining the Mountain West, the Bulldogs are headed to the MW Championship in back-to-back seasons.

Fresno State's match against Boise State will determine the seed that the 'Dogs will be assigned in the tournament.

In 2023, the Bulldogs were the last to clinch a spot in the tournament, earning the lowest seed.

This season, Fresno State was the fourth team to snag a spot in the tournament, joining Colorado State, Utah State, San Jose State, San Diego State, and Boise State.

THE LAST TIME

Fresno State hosted the Boise State Broncos earlier this in the Bulldogs' second conference match of the season.

The Bulldogs earned their first conference win of 2024 against the Broncos in five sets.

The first two sets went to the Broncos, but the 'Dogs rallied to reverse sweep Boise State in front of the Red Wave.

MAKING HER MARK

Four Bulldogs have reached major career milestones in the 2024 season.

Reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Year Dionii Fraga has accumulated 457 digs in her sophomore season and is now at over 1,000 digs in her career at 1,001.

Junior Addison Haluska has 435 kills in 2024 and has passed 1,000 in her career with only 1,008 to go.
