FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team is gearing up for its final homestand of the season, hosting Colorado State and Wyoming this week.

The 'Dogs are coming off a 0-2 week on the road against San Diego State and UNLV, leaving them at fourth place in the conference standings.

BOUNCING BACK

The Bulldogs are returning to the court this week after their first 0-2 week of conference play, being defeated by both San Diego State and UNLV.

The losses set Fresno State back to 9-5 in the Mountain West standings, behind Colorado State, San Jose State and San Diego State.

Fresno State is slated to face two of the three opponents above them in the standings to close out the season in Colorado State and San Jose State.

BY THE NUMBERS

As the 2024 season has progressed, several Bulldogs have hit major career milestones while others are near the mark.

Brooke Cowie surpassed the 3,000 assist mark while Ella Rud has earned over 1,000 kills in her Bulldog career.

Reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Year and Bulldog starting libero is only 34 digs away from the 1,000 mark in her sophomore season.

Addison Haluska is 54 kills away from 1,000 in her career.

Kasey Purry leads the Bulldogs in hitting percentage this season, and is 26 kills away from 500 as a middle blocker and 36 blocks away from 500.

SENIOR SZN

The Bulldogs are celebrating seven seniors who will be leaving the team after the 2024 season.

Brooke Cowie, Preslee Lillard, Olivia Keller, Sydney Gazzaniga, Ella Rud, Kasey Purry and Maja Malczewska will all compete in their final match in the Save Mart Center on Saturday against Wyoming.

Fresno State will honor its seven seniors in a postgame ceremony on Saturday.
