'Dogs finish Dennis Rizza Intercollegiate

ROLLING HILL ESTATES, Calif. - Fresno State women's tennis sees the end of the Dennis Rizza Intercollegiate Invite on Friday afternoon at the Jack Kramer Club in Rolling Hill Estates.

How it Happened

Opening the day with doubles play, Matilde Magrini and Andjela Lopicic saw their first pairing together. The duo faced Saint Mary's Kook/Khan in the top doubles slot on Friday morning. Bulldogs' fell to the Gaels 6-2 to start.

Also in their pairing together, Sofia Pizzoni and Klara Vukicevic. The pair also fell to Saint Mary's Daries/Rook, 6-2.

Set for a rematch, the Bulldogs were all paired with the Gaels for singles play. Magrini held the top singles slot for the Bulldogs. Magrini fell to Khan; 6-2, 6-1. The Bulldogs would suffer losses in all singles matches for the afternoon. As Lopicic fell to Daries (6-1, 7(7)-6(5)), Pizzoni falls to Silva (7(7)-6(5), 3(10)-6(6)) and Vukicevic fell to Rook (6-4, 6-1).
