LAWRENCE, Kan. — The Fresno State women's golf team wrapped up the opening day of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in 12th place, finishing with a 37-over 615 at Lawrence Country Club.
Katelyn Lehigh led the Bulldogs, sitting in 15th place after shooting a 2-over 146.
Vunnisa Vu ended the day at 7-over, followed by Amelia Garibaldi at 11-over. Genevieve Akers shot 21-over, while Motoko Shimoji finished 22-over.
Fresno State will tee off at 6:40 a.m. CST paired with GCU and Eastern Michigan.
