Purry named MW Defensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Kasey Purry has been named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week following her performance against Wyoming and conference leader Colorado State last week, the conference announced on Monday.

This is the second consecutive week that a Bulldog has been named MW Defensive Player of the Week with Sophomore Dionii Fraga earning the title last week.

MOUNTAIN WEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KASEY PURRY

Kasey Purry was a brick wall for the Bulldogs this week with 11 total blocks out of the Bulldogs' team total of 18, including four solo blocks and seven assists.

The fifth-year senior totaled 14 kills this week and averaged 1.56 kills per set.

In addition, Purry also logged a service age and a dig.
