A dozen 'Dogs selected for NCAA West First Round

FRESNO, Calif. – Featuring its largest group in program history, the Fresno State women's track & field team will send 12 athletes to Fayetteville, Ark., next week for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West First Round held at John McDonnell Field on May 22-25. The Bulldogs' 12 individuals will be vying for a spot at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., on June 5-8.

Fresno State will have 15 entries in the meet. Jordyn Bryant, Cierra Jackson, Rachela Pace, Ceonna Pipion and Iyanna Ross will each compete in multiple events during the women's two days.

Amelia DiPaola – Hammer

Emma Harper – Hammer

Rhiannon Genilla – Javelin

Miana Giovannini – 4x400 Relay

Cierra Jackson – Shot Put, Discus

Harriette Mortlock – Javelin

Rachela Pace – Long Jump, Triple Jump

Ceonna Pipion – 200m, 400m, 4x400 Relay

Iyanna Ross – 400m, 4x400 Relay

Chloe Sharp – 4x400 Relay

Liz Tarczy – High Jump
