GCC unveils seedings and bracket for 2024 championship

FRESNO, Calif. - The Golden Coast Conference announced the seedings and bracket for the 2024 GCC Championship tournament, hosted by Santa Clara at the Sullivan Aquatic Center from Friday, Apr. 26 through Sunday, Apr. 28.

Fresno State earned the No. 2 seed, behind the regular season champion LMU who enters the tournament on an 18-game winning streak. Fresno State will play the host school Santa Clara in game number two on Friday (12 p.m.). It will be a rematch from the regular season finale, which saw the 'Dogs earning a 23-4 win over the Broncos.

The Bulldogs look to defend their tournament champion title, winning the last three tournaments.

The winner of the GCC tournament receives an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA women's water polo championship, this year hosted by Cal on May 10-12.
