2023 'Dogs in the NFL: Week 7

FRESNO, Calif. - With some injuries and bye weeks, just two former Bulldogs were in action for Week 7 of the NFL season.

Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

With a couple of different backup quarterbacks playing, Adams was targeted 12 times and caught five passes for 57 yards in the Raiders' loss to the Bears.

DaRon Bland, CB, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys had their bye week last week, and Bland got a Week 7 break. Bland has played in all six games, and started four for the Cowboys. He totals 21 tackles, but most impresses in his pass defense with seven total passes defended and three interceptions, two returned for touchdowns. He is second in the NFL in total interceptions, and leads the league in interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Derek Carr, QB, New Orleans Saints

For the second consecutive week, Carr surpassed 50 pass attempts. This week going 33-of-55 for 301 yards and a touchdown. He threw one interception and was only sacked once in the Saints' down-to-the-wire loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jake Haener, QB, New Orleans Saints

Haener was not active in the Saints' game against Jacksonville.
