FRESNO, Calif. - The 2023 Mountain West Media Days are set for July 19-20 at the Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
Representing each institution will be the head coach and two student-athletes. Fresno State will bring head coach Jeff Tedford, and seniors Levelle Bailey (LB) and Erik Brooks (WR) as its representatives this season.
Bailey and Brooks will kickoff MW Media Days on Wednesday, July 19, meeting with the media and television broadcast partners throughout the day. Tedford will close out the Media Days experience in Las Vegas on Thursday.

Notes on the Fresno State representatives:
Jeff Tedford, Fresno State head coach
Tedford is in his second year back as head coach at his alma mater. He first returned as head coach from 2017-19.
Tedford has coached the Bulldogs to a 36-18 record in four seasons as head coach.
In four seasons as head coach, Tedford has led Fresno State to three West Division titles, two Mountain West championships, three Bowl Game victories, two Top 25 finishes and three 10-win seasons.
In 2022, Tedford led Fresno State to a 10-4 season after starting 1-4. Fresno State became the first school in FBS history to begin a season with a 1-4 record and finish with 10 wins.
Tedford also made FBS history as Fresno State became the first team to secure back-to-back double-digit winning seasons (2017, 2018) following a double-digit loss season (2016).
Levelle Bailey, Fresno State senior linebacker
Bailey returns for his fifth year at Fresno State. He is a three-time All-Mountain West honorable mention linebacker.
The senior from Sacramento, Calif. returns as Fresno State's active leader in career starts (36) and career games played (45).
In 2022, Bailey had a single-season career-high with 88 tackles (54 solo). He led the team in tackles last year, in a defense that was ranked 14th in the FBS in scoring defense and 9th in passing efficiency defense.
Bailey's 88 tackles were the 11th most by any player in the MW in 2022. He ranked in the Top 15 among all tacklers in the MW in tackles per game.
He was selected as a captain in four games in 2022.
Bailey's 2023 preseason recognitions include first team preseason All-MW by Phil Steele, second team All-MW by Athlon Sports, and a nominee for the AllState AFCA Good Works Team.
Erik Brooks, Fresno State senior wide receiver
Brooks returns as a sixth-year wide receiver for the Bulldogs, being with the program since 2018.
Brooks returns to the offense with the most games played on that side of the ball (39). He has two starts in his career.
In 2022, Brooks was fourth on the team with 37 receptions for 391 yards and three touchdowns. Brooks was led in the receiving categories by graduated players in Jalen Moreno-Cropper, Nikko Remigio and Zane Pope.
Three of his five career touchdowns have been against Power 5 opponents - UCLA, Oregon State and USC.
Brooks began his career as a walk-on at Fresno State and was put on scholarship in August of 2021. Brooks was a Burlsworth Trophy nominee in 2021.
Brooks' 2023 preseason recognitions include third team preseason All-MW wide receiver by Phil Steele and Athlon Sports.
