Bulldog Tennis adds two transfers to the program

FRESNO, Calif. – Charlotte Gisclon and Misaki Kobayashi are set to join the Fresno State tennis program for the 2023-24 season.

"Their dedication and love for the game will strengthen our program for years to come and boost our team to new heights," head coach Denise Dy said of Gisclon and Kobayashi. "We're looking forward to calling them Bulldogs."

Gisclon (Lyon, France) is a transfer from Michigan State with two years of eligibility remaining. Gisclon earned nine singles victories and nine doubles wins while playing for the Spartans out of the Big Ten.

Kobayashi (Yokohama, Japan) is a graduate transfer from Oregon, who also played two seasons primarily for Cal State Fullerton. Kobayashi played in 20 singles matches and 18 doubles contests over two spring seasons at Oregon, who was consistently nationally ranked in the ITA rankings. Before her time in Eugene, Kobayashi starred at Cal State Fullerton, where she collected All-Big West honors in 2021, and has multiple ITA Scholar Athlete accolades in her career.
