LYNCH NOTES

Lynch is slated to make her first appearance at a NCAA regional. She is the seventh Bulldog in program history to earn a NCAA regional bid as an individual.

Last week, Lynch was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team. She became the fourth Bulldog to earn multiple All-MW selections in their career.

Lynch averaged a 73.27 in 33.0 total rounds on the year.

She opened the season with her first of six Top 10 finishes with a season-low 4-under par 212 to place third at the Branch Law Firm Dick McGuire Invitational. She matched that score and finish to close the year at the Mountain West Championship.

She became the first Bulldog to place in the Top 11 in each MW Championship competed in (2019 – T-9th, 2021 – 11th, 2022 – T-7th, 2023 – T-3rd).

Lynch earned the highest finish of her career at the Fresno State Classic, placing second en route to helping the Bulldogs claim their first team title since 2016.

Lynch is ranked No. 167 in the latest GolfStat player rankings, announced on April 24, and is the No. 3 seeded individual in the Pullman region.

The selection marks the ninth time Fresno State has been represented by an individual in the postseason, and the first to do so under second-year head coach Lisa Ferrero. In the 19-year history of the program, the Bulldogs have entered postseason play once as a team (2008) and have been represented by an individual nine times.
