SAN DIEGO – The No. 67-ranked Fresno State women's tennis team lost both of its matches over the weekend to UNLV 4-1 and the No. 42-ranked San Diego State Aztecs 4-2 at the Aztec Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
Fresno State (9-11, 3-5 Mountain West) struggled in doubles and didn't execute well enough in singles to overcome the deficits, but the Bulldogs did get to a third set four times in singles in the road showdown with SDSU.
Fresno State has now faced 10 nationally ranked opponents this season (5-5 record in those contests).
