Lynch in contention heading into final day at The Beach Invitational

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. – On a day cut short due to darkness, Fresno State's Harriet Lynch is tied for fourth through 30 holes at The Beach Invitational. The second round will resume tomorrow at 8 a.m. PT with a shotgun start for round 3 immediately following the conclusion of round 2.

Lynch had a strong first round, carding a 1-over par 73 to sit in a tie for first. Shooting 3-over par through the first 12 holes in round two, the senior is tied for fourth, one shot back of the top spot. Lynch's four birdies, which saw three come in the opening round, are tied for the second-most in the field.

Following a 5-over par first round and 4-over par through 11 in the second, Katelyn Lehigh is tied for 15th on the leaderboard.

With Fresno State players having finished 11-12 holes in the second round, the 'Dogs are tied for seventh, currently combining for a 42-over par.
