FRESNO, Calif. – With three months until the opening of the college basketball season, Fresno State released its 13-game nonconference schedule on Monday which sees the Bulldogs open their season on Nov. 7 at the Save Mart Center versus Fresno Pacific. It will mark the first of five straight home games to open the year for the 'Dogs, all against opponents from the Golden State.
During the first 16 days of the season the Bulldogs will host FPU, CSU Bakersfield, UC Riverside, Cal Poly and UC Merced before leaving Fresno for their first-ever road trip to the Sunshine State. During Thanksgiving weekend, the 'Dogs will compete in the 2022 Daytona Beach Invitational. Fresno State's two opponents at the multi-team event will be announced at a later date.
The Bulldogs will remain on the road a week later, starting the month of December with trips to Portland State and Sacramento State. Fresno State will return to the Save Mart Center on Dec. 8 for three home games in nine days, facing Northern Arizona, UC Irvine and Utah Valley. The 'Dogs will end their nonconference schedule on Dec. 20 at UCLA.
